Utah Business and Digital iQ magazines are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Utah Business IQ Awards, (Innovation Quotent) an annual recognition program that will be featured in upcoming issues of both magazines. Utah has a significant history in technological innovations, and it’s about time the companies behind the innovations receive some well-deserved recognition. Women to Watch

On April 17th, 2008 we will honor the 2008 Women to Watch at our 9th annual Women’s Business Day Luncheon. This event is presented by Wells Fargo Bank. The 2008 Women to Watch span job titles and industries, but each shares the same trait with the others: a passion for her job. These women seek to make a difference, not only in their own lives, but in those of their families, employees, and family members.

Trailblazers 2008

The Utah Business Trailblazers event recognizes organizations with a rich long lasting history of business in Utah. Trailblazers apply historical success to build the future. This event is presented by Northwestern Mutual Life.

CFO of the Year

Excellence in leadership can be found on all levels of the business spectrum, so on June 18, 2008 Utah Business will honor outstanding CFOs in a range of categories including small, medium and large public and private companies, non-profits, and government organizations. The event begins with a reception at 11:00 a.m. and an awards luncheon following at noon at the Grand America Hotel.

Fast 50

Utah Business magazine is pleased to launch our Fast 50 recognition program, highlighting 50 of the fastest growing companies in Utah. Companies will be acclaimed for their entrepreneurial spirit, innovative business tactics and skyrocketing revenue growth. The Fast 50 will be featured in the September 2008 issue of Utah Business and honored at an event on August 27, 2008.

Outstanding Directors Awards

On October 30, 2008, Utah Business magazine, in association with the National Association of Corporate Directors, Utah Chapter, will honor six outstanding board directors whose service to their boards has been exceptional when we present the 2008 Outstanding Directors Awards.

Best Companies to Work For
